Bucyrus Robbery Suspect Arrested in Marion Co.

The suspect in a Bucyrus robbery was arrested in Marion by the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Travis Jay Baker, 30, of Bucyrus was arrested for aggravated robbery in connection with a March 7 robbery of Lillo's Carpet Store on Marion Bucyrus Rd.

According to reports, around 9:30 a.m. on March 7, the suspect entered the carpet store posing as a customer and attacked the store owner with a socket wrench. The suspect then took cash from the business and fled the scene.

Investigation into the incident led authorities to the arrest of Baker. The investigation is ongoing at this time and more arrests are possible according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
