The unemployment picture in the state of Ohio looks a bit better in March, according to data released by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. All 88 Counties saw a decrease in unemployment in March of this year.

Marion County saw 8.5% unemployment for the Month of March, ranking 45th in the state. The drop was eight-tenths of a percent from February's 9.3% unemployment.  March's 8.5% is also the lowest yet in 2012 and is the second lowest rate in three years. The city of Marion alone saw a similar story in March with 8.8% unemployment. It is also the second lowest rate in three years.

Though Marion County as a whole is seeing improvement, the county is still well behind neighboring Union and Delaware Counties with 5.8% and 5.6% unemployment respectively in March.
